Missions Ministry News & Photos

We have been self funded missionaries since 2005. God led us to sell my business and use our own resources and funds to serve Him as missionaries. God gave us a vision that includes doing various things to help churches to share the Gospel in their communities, and to make disciples.

We very much appreciate your prayers. Because we share the Gospel with many people in churches, schools, and outreach events in communities, we experience a great deal of spiritual warfare. Without Jesus we can do absolutely nothing, and cannot fulfill the mission He has given us. So we very much need your continued prayers.

 

The vision God has given us for our missions ministry includes doing the following things to help and train churches:

• Preach in churches
• Missions & evangelism training for churches
• Preach the Gospel in evangelistic events with churches
• Quality Of Life project to preach the Gospel in schools
• Help churches to make disciples

 

We recently have seen God reach some incredible milestones in our 17 years of missions ministry:

• We have shared the Gospel with over 400,000 people in churches, schools, outreach events, orphanages, drug rehab centers, prisons, visiting homes, person-to-person…
• God has touched and led over 150,000 people to repent and commit to follow Christ in their lives. This includes more than 2300 teachers & leaders in the schools.
• We have now done our Quality Of Life outreach project in over 400 schools in 27 countries
• We have helped more than 230 churches to share the Gospel and make disciples
• Kevin has preached in more than 140 churches in 27 countries
• We have led 59 missions and evangelism training seminars for more than 100 churches

We give God all the glory, honor, and praise. For without Him we can accomplish nothing.

November 2022: Quality Of Life Porject at EE Dr. Honorino school – Hortolandia

This was our last school outreach project in Brazil. The window of opportunity to do evangelism in the schools in Brazil is closing, and with the recent election results the window is sure to close soon. Because of this, and also because less and less churches are interested in missions and evangelism, we have closed out our ministry in Brazil. We had a great day in this school, and a large number of students and various teachers repented and committed to follow Jesus. The participation of Igreja Batista Boas Novas was very good also.

 

October 2022: Quality Of Life Project at EE Candido school – Sumaré

We worked with Segunda Igreja Batista Sumaré in this state school for 1st to 5th graders. The participation of the church was great, with 11 people from the church helping us. Including the 2 pastors. We had a great day at the school, and God moved in a great way. Hundreds of students and 5 teachers repented and committed their lives to Jesus. It appears that the school is open to the church doing more to help the students, teachers, and families.

 

October 2022: Preaching at Segunda Igreja Batista – Sumaré

Kevin had the privilege to preach at the church about the type of Christian and church that God wants. We will be working with the church in an upcoming project at a school nearby.

 

September 2022: Quality Of Life project at EE Antonio Zanluchi school – Hortolandia

This is a large school in a poor area in Hortolandia. We were scheduled to speak to the morning students & teachers and then in the afternoon period also. It went really well in the morning and the Holy Spirit worked in a powerful way. A large number of students and some teachers repented and made a commitment to follow Jesus. Unfortunately we were not able to speak in the afternoon. The principal told us that there are some very difficult parents in the afternoon period, and one even filed a complaint against her and the school for having a different project in the school that the mother did not like. So the principal needs to try to get the parents permission before we can speak to the afternoon group. It is getting harder and harder to be able to get into the schools these days.

 

September 2022: Preach at Igreja Batista Redencao – Sumaré

Kevin has preached at this church several times, and also led a missions & evangelism training. We also have worked with this church in a school in their area. This was an evangelistic service so Kevin preached the Gospel. An older gentleman repented and committed his life to Jesus, and several other visitors hear the Gospel as well.

 

September 2022: Quality Of Life project at EE Dr. Camilo school – Indaiatuba

We worked with our own church Igreja Batista Nova Alianca in Indaiatuba, and the participation was very good. The principal is interested in having her daughter visit the adolescents group in our church.  One of the leaders in the school tried to get us to stop talking about the spiritual life part of our message, which is the Gospel, but we did not comply. Many students and some teachers repented and committed their lives to Jesus.

 

August 2022: Preach at Igreja Crista Hesed – Elias Fausto

The pastor of this church is friends with some people at the Baptist church in Elias Fausto that we have worked with in some schools this year, and he invited Kevin to preach.

 

August 2022: Missions Conference at Igreja Batista Nova Alianca – Indaiatuba

Our church in Indaiatuba held a 2 day missions conference to inspire and challenge more people and more churches to actively participate in God’s mission work. Kevin had the privilege to be one of the speakers at the event, along with several other missionaries from various organizations and locations.

 

August 2022: Quality Of Life project at EE Elysabeth school – Sumaré

We had a great day at this school for students in 6th grade through high school. A great number of students and various teachers repented and committed their lives to Jesus. Our friend Joana from Sao Paulo visited us for a few days and helped as one of our interpreters. Sadly no one showed up from the church that committed to help us, and the school was very open to receive more help.

 

June 2022: Preach at Primeira Igreja Batista Jd. Nova America – Campinas

This was an evangelistic service that was part of the missions & evangelism training we had at the church in late May. Kevin preached during the service and the seeds of the Gospel were planted in various visitors’ hearts.

 

June 2022: Quality Of Life Project at EE Annunziatta School – Indaiatuba

We had a lot of spiritual warfare leading up to the outreach project in this school. But praise God it was another great day, as many students and some teachers repented and committed to follow Jesus in their lives.

 

June 2022: Preach at Brazilian Valentines Day Service & Dinner – Igreja Batista Ebenezer – Campinas

We worked several times with this church last year. Kevin preached a message on how to live a victorious life and have a successful marriage & family in Christ for their Valentines Day service & dinner.

May 2022: Quality Of Life Project at EM Maria Candida School – Elias Fausto

A great number of students, teachers, and the principal repented and committed to follow Jesus. Awesome day.

 

May 2022: Quality Of Life Project at EM Aparecida School – Cardeal

Despite various difficulties at the school the results were great. Many students and teachers, and the Vice Principal repented and committed their lives to Jesus.

 

May 2022: Quality Of Life Project at EM Lupercio School – Elias Fausto

It was a great day at the school as God moved in a powerful way. Many students and teachers, and the Vice Principal repented and committed to follow Jesus in their lives.

 

May 2022: Missions & Evangelism Training – PIB Jd. Nova America – Campinas

24 members of the church were trained on 2 Sunday mornings to confidently share the Gospel with others in the power of the Holy Spirit. And to do the important work of follow-up and discipleship.

 

April 2022 – Quality Of Life Project at EE Ivani Aprecida School – Sumaré

A great number of students, 7 teachers, and the vice principal accepted Christ and committed to follow Him in their lives

 

April 2022 – Quality Of Life Project at EE Jose Claret Dionisio School – Hortolandia

Many students and teachers repented and committed to follow Jesus in their lives. It was a great day.

 

March 2022 – Quality Of Life Project at EE Maria de Lourdes School – Indaiatuba

Many students and some teachers accepted Christ & committed to follow Him

 

March 2022 – Preaching at Igreja Batista da Liberdade – Elias Fausto

Members were encouraged and challenged to fully commit to Jesus and actively serve Him in His kingdom and mission work

 

February 2022 – Mission & Evangelism Training – Igreja Batista Nova Alianca – Indaiatuba

30+ members of the church were trained & equipped for missions & evangelism, and to do the important work of follow-up and discipleship.
