ŸPLACE A CHECK BESIDES SOME OF THE KEY THINGS WE NEED TO DO IN OUR PRAYER & FELLOWSHIP TIME WITH GOD:

            ___ Meditate on God and His word              ___ Confess and reconnect to God
            ___ Pray for others                                       ___ Try to get all you want
            ___ Pray for unsaved people                         ___ Pray for Pastors & Leaders
            ___ Pursue your own desires                         ___ Pursue and seek to know God

ŸACCORDING TO MATTHEW 6:33 & PROVERBS 21:21 , WHAT IS THE KEY TO HAVING ALL YOU NEED, AND TO FINDING TRUE ABUNDANT LIFE:
            ___  Pray, Pray, Pray for the things you think will satisfy and fulfill you
            ___  Work very hard for the best things that life has to offer
            ___  Put your relationship with God first, and seek & pursue Him & His will & kingdom

ŸCHOOSE THE STATEMENTS THAT ARE TRUE:
    ___ People naturally have a heart to know God.  ___ All Christians are hungry for God.
    ___ People naturally want to live by God's will.  ___ We need God's Spirit to help & guide us.
    ___ Christians automatically know God's will.    ___ We need God to cleanse us & change us
    ___ We need to learn how to walk with God.              in order to be close & right with Him.

Ÿ YOU SHOULD START YOUR TIME WITH GOD & YOUR DAY WITH PRAISE:
       ___ To practice for Sunday services            ___ To get your mind & heart focused on God
       ___ To butter him up & get all you want     ___ To get focused so you can hear from God
       ___ To glorify and honor God                     ___ To get your focus off of self
       ___ To have a soft, humble, listening heart  ___ To protect you from a spirit of despair

ŸWHY DOES GOD WANT US TO REJOICE IN HIM ALWAYS: (I Thes.5:16; Phil.4:4)
       ___ Because He has a "God-sized" ego and can't get enough compliments
       ___ Because it is pleasing to Him                ___ To help raise your perspective
       ___ Because God wants us to get to know Him and walk with Him, the only source of true joy
              and peace, so we can be filled with His joy and peace. (see John 14:21-27; 15:9-11)
       ___ Because it helps us get to know Him as what we praise Him for (see page 11, # 2)

ŸTHE MORE YOU TRULY KNOW GOD, THE MORE NATURAL AND HEARTFELT YOUR PRAISING AND WORSHIP OF GOD WILL BE.

ŸIN WHAT WAYS IS PRAISING GOD ACTUALLY A SPIRITUAL WEAPON (P.11):
       ___ Praise honors & glorifies God                ___ You appear more spiritual as you do it
       ___ Praise helps you to know God better      ___ Others will admire you for doing it
       ___ Praise sensitizes us to God's presence    ___ Praise lifts us out of despair & oppression
       ___ Praise disarms & confuses the enemy     ___ We are encouraged & strengthened when
                                                                                      we sense & know that God is near us.
