ŸREVIEW I THESSALONIANS 5:16-18, PHILIPPIANS 4:4-7, AND PAGE 39; WHY IS THANKSGIVING AN IMPORTANT PART OF OUR PRAYER TIME AND LIFE ?
___ Giving thanks to God is expressing your worship of Him and the things He has done.
___ Giving thanks to God gives Him the glory and honor.
___ When you praise God and pray/talk to Him and give thanks to Him continually, you develop a
        worshipful, prayerful, thankful heart attitude and lifestyle, which is very pleasing to God.
___ Giving thanks helps you to remember all the wonderful things God has done for you.

ŸREVIEW PAGE 41; MARK A T FOR TRUE OR AN F FOR FALSE:
___ Having trust and faith in God is absolutely vital to an intimate, right relationship with God.
___ It pleases God when you do not trust Him and demonstrate faith in Him in your life.
___ Trust is an essential requirement for any relationship, including yours with God.
___ God expects your trust and faith in Him to be not based on any facts or evidence (Heb. 11:1)
___ Your trust and faith in God grows as you see Him demonstrate His faithfulness and goodness in
        your life and in the lives of others.
___ You can build up or strengthen your own faith in God by your own will power & effort.
___ One of the best things you can do is ask God to help you to trust in Him more.
___ Expecting God to do what He says or promises is "perfect" faith (this comes from walking with
        God and getting to know Him)

ŸREAD I TIMOTHY 1:12-14 ; WHERE DID THE APOSTLE PAUL GET HIS STRONG "PERFECT" FAITH IN GOD AND HIS GREAT LOVE & PASSION FOR GOD ?:
___ He made his very best effort everyday to trust in God and to love Him.
___ He realized that He needed to fully submit himself and his life to Jesus and fully depend on Him,
        and thus he was filled with Jesus' grace (strength, power,...) and Jesus' faith and Jesus' love &
       passion for God (filled & controlled by God's Holy Spirit - see Ephesians 5:18).

ŸREVIEW PAGE 42; CHOOSE THE STATEMENTS THAT ARE TRUE:
___ According to Luke 17:6 & Mark 11:23,24 Jesus means that if you just have faith in God you
        can do anything you want to do, and you can ask for anything you want to and it will be yours.
___ You have to match up I John 5:14-15 and other verses/chapters in God's word with these verses
        to see that Jesus was talking about that if you walk with Him in a right relationship and trust
        Him, you will pray more like He did -- "Father not my will, but your will be done", and you will
        thus be able to see God work in and through you in powerful ways.
___ If you start your day with fellowship time with God (worship, His word, prayer,...), and thus
        your focus and perspective is on God and on following Him, you will tend to be able to better
        demonstrate your faith in Him through your attitudes & thoughts & actions throughout the day.

___ You cannot pray & live powerfully by faith unless you have a right relationship with God
___ Saying "I pray  in Jesus name" is a magic phrase that unlocks all of God's power & blessings
___ Praying in Jesus name really means you want to pray in agreement with His will, or according to
        His nature or character, or for things that He paid for at the cross.
